I am pleased to announce the opening of Stuck on You.  Kelly Dobson, a friend of mine, has opened up a wall paper hanging business.  Kelly has graciously agreed to be one of the sponsors of the Inclusive Design Group “Ask a Decorator” designer room at the 2012 Kitchen, Bath, and Renovation show.  The use of wall paper has become very popular again, and for this reason we decided to use it in the designer room at this years show.  I know many people who grew up with wall paper or had wall paper back in the 70s tremble at the thought of this.  But today wall paper is often used differently and more sparingly than it was in the past.  Often it is introduced only as a feature wall.  Sometimes a frame is placed around its edges and it is used like a picture.  In the Inclusive Design Studio, there is a single roll width that runs down the wall on either side of a low entertainment center and a wall mounted flat screen.  Use of wall paper in this situation acts to dress and place emphasis on a long wall that is difficult to dress because of the entertainment unit and flat screen.  Pictures of this room to follow soon on web site.   Anyone interested in using Kelly’s services please send me an e-mail and I will put you in touch with her.  To see Kelly’s fine workmanship please visit the Inclusive Design Group booth #306 at the 2012 Kitchen, Bath, and Renovation show, held at the Winnipeg Convention Center January 13th -15th.
